The first ever Food and Agriculture Pavilion, co-hosted by CGIAR, the FAO and The Rockefeller Foundation, welcomed high-level officials including US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and USAID Administrator Samantha Power, who both spoke of the US’ commitment to funding CGIAR; and UAE Minister of Climate and Environment HE Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri who spoke about UAE’s commitment to transforming food systems for climate mitigation.
